lyrics
Paroles :
Qu’ils soient mille, qu’ils soient cent, ils baiseront nos fesses !
Lyrics :
The ship left this morning on the waves,
300 pounds of whiskey and 100 of rotgut.
The sails already fade out on the horizon,
Soon the face to face will be set for real.
On board men are ready for this last fight,
Armed with their swords until the last expiration.
For the honor of the ruffians and the "runners of the seas",
From our sharp steels we will cross iron.
Day of glory and honor
For all the pirates, it's finally time,
To no longer live in chains,
No mercy today, we win our freedom !
The more the confrontation approaches, the more the tension increases.
All these hoodlums so close we can say that it goes back to us.
So many Brothers of the Coast fell because of them.
The king and all his fleet think that we will be better in heaven.
The ranking officers of the lord believe they are better than us,
But how many skimmers have died the rope around the neck ?
We can not continue to do so,
We are ready to fight to change all our rights.
Now we can see all their warships,
Their colors float in the wind, they are very proud of them.
We are fewer than all these bilge rats,
We are ready to make fire and fight.
The first cannon shots echoe all around
And the first galleons are touched by iron.
The sun disappeared behind all this smoke,
The battle went on in the dark.
And how many broadsides we had to shoot ?
There has been quite enough to board all of them.
The ships are clashing violently now,
Hull noises can be heard as well as a wave of howling.
From our sharp sabers, we climb on their deck.
Pityless, mercyless, we will attack them
Until their blood stained by the nobility flows.
Whatever they are a thousand or a hundred, they will kiss our buttocks !
The battle finished on ruins of tubs,
Too much blood has flowed, bodies float on the waves.
The king is in our ranks, alone and at our mercy.
His ministers are dying, for him it is well finished.
We can ask in the end if all this
Will really change anything for us down here.
It would take only one officer becoming our superior
To start all over again with this governor.
